In this comprehensive presentation of Jakob Weidemann you are invited into his colorful and abstract universe painted with the nature as an inspiration source. Weidemann was born in Steinkjer, Trøndelag, and is considered a pioneer in modern Norwegian arthistory. The exhibition presents his entire career with a main focus o his early works and unknown paintings from the 40's and 50's.

The exhibition is produced by Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, in collaboration with Sørlandet Art Museum and Trondheim kunstmuseum.

Exhibition: Håkon Bleken - Do Not Go Gentle

In January 2019, Håkon Bleken turns 90 years! In collaboration with the Henie Onstad Art Center, Trondheim kunstmuseum will celebrate one of Norway's most prominent artists with a retrospective exhibition. After the exhibition at the Henie Onstad Art Center in February, the exhibition opens at Trondheim kunstmuseum on 23 March. Bleken is one of Trondheim's most important artists of all time, not only by virtue of his vital artistic work but also by his clear and committed voice in public debates. We are looking forward to mark Bleken's great anniversary with the exhibition "Do Not Go Gentle".
